Looking for walking football in North Wales? Deeside Walking Football Club offers a friendly, welcoming environment for adults aged 50 and over to stay active, improve fitness, and enjoy the social side of the beautiful game.

Based at Deeside Leisure Centre, the club meets every Tuesday at 1:00pm for a one-hour session. Whether you're returning to football after many years or trying walking football for the first time, players of all abilities are welcome. The emphasis is on fun, exercise, friendship and enjoying the game at a slower pace.

Walking football is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK and Europe, providing fantastic physical and mental health benefits for older adults. Many members join simply to stay active and meet new people, while others enjoy the opportunity to compete. Deeside Walking Football Club proudly fields Over 60s and Over 70s teams in the North Wales League, with the Over 70s crowned Welsh Champions!

The club currently has over 45 members, most of whom regularly attend weekly sessions. The club welcomes both men and women, and encourages anyone aged 50+ to come along and give it a try.

Your first session is completely free, with subsequent sessions costing just £4. There's no need to book in advance—simply turn up on the day. If you decide to continue, the club will help you register as a member.
