The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is the highest navigable aqueduct in the world and it is the longest in the UK.
You can walk for free over the aqueduct which offers beautiful views as well as the opportunity to walk along the highest aqueduct in the world!
The walking path over the aqueduct and along the canal is flat and is accessible for all.
Dogs are welcome but please keep them on a short lead. There are toilet facilities and a large car park which is pay and display. There is also a separate carpark which is closer to the aqueduct designated for disability parking spaces.

For a longer walk route, you can walk from the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct to the Cefn Viaduct in Ty Mawr Country Park. Please note this route to the Cefn Viaduct is not an accessible for all path.
