Event Description

Join us for our annual Charity Summer Fayre.

We have so much going on throughout the day with live music from local artists such as Abstract, inflatables, face painting, delicious food, a mobile bar, a fun dog show run by Jacksons Animal Rescue, a nerf experience, 30+ stalls, and more.

And most importantly, it is FREE ENTRY for all!!

Limited parking is available at the school carpark directly opposite The Cross Foxes Pub (LL14 2SA), which is just a short 3-minute walk away (please follow signs).

This year we are raising money for 2 amazing charities - Tommy's & 1st Penycae Scouts.

Tommy's is an amazing charity that provides outstanding support and research to those who have unfortunately experienced child loss. Tommy's funds medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. They are dedicated to finding causes and treatments to save babies’ lives as well as providing trusted pregnancy and baby loss information and support.

1st Penycae Scouts is a fantastic charity with amazing and dedicated volunteers who provide young children, teenagers, and young adults with a safe and secure place to learn new skills regardless of their background, race, gender, or disability. They have weekly meetings, activity days, and even have several camping trips each year. All of which is organized and provided by the fantastic volunteers who put in thousands of hours each year, taking away nothing but memories and the knowledge of helping these children/young adults gain new life skills. They too rely on donations and fundraising to continue each year.

Wheelchair/pram-friendly building.

There is also a wheelchair-accessible toilet available.

Please be aware that there will be some stalls, inflatables, and activities set up on the field, and as with any field, it can be hard to navigate in a wheelchair.

All dog breeds are welcome, but regardless of their temperment, they are to be on a lead at all times! This is for everyones safety, including their own.

Anyone not adhering to the lead rule will be asked to leave immediately.

We hope you can join us on Saturday the 28th June and help support both charities, all the local businesses, volunteers & performers.
