Park at Ty Mawr Country Park, LL14 3PE, parking costs £1 per day. There are toilet facilities, a café open on select days (see Linden's Coffee Barn for information), small free animal park, and children's play park.
You can then begin the route alongside the river, and follow the signs for the Aqueduct.
Allow a couple of hours for the walk to the Aqueduct and back.
